As a coach, my passion is new skater development and supporting teams to take space on the track in ways they’d never considered.

For the last 10 years I’ve coached skaters and derby players from ‘never before on skates’ skaters all the way up to Tier 1 UK Roller Derby teams and everyone in between. 

Rule 56 coaching

Created and hosted Derby stance coaching seminars: 2016-2019

EROC: facilitated workshops on coaching development, short track roller derby, future of roller derby as a community sport, creating an inclusive framework for roller derby skaters 

EuroDeryCon: led workshops on new skater training in roller derby

Since 2016, I’ve also focussed on supporting other coaches.  Through my work with Rule 56 and partnership with Hive Skate Hub for Coach the Coach, I’ve been involved in coach mentoring, coach (and trainer) consulting and running in person “How to Coach…” courses.   I’ve also recently led the redevelopment of the new participant curriculum for the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (the roller derby governing body).
